Leintwardine Youth Group initially joined together in July of 2010. It was felt by locals that there was very little to do in school holidays, for teenagers in the village, therefore L.Y.G. was formed in December of 2010.
L.Y.G. provide activities, trips and events in and around Leintwardine for children aged between 8 and 16. Such past events have been a ’Ready Steady Cook’ contest, judged by local sports celebrity Robert Weale. It’s A Knockout Competition, and Sponsored Walk in aid of Air Ambulance, where our young people walked in a chain gang, for over 3 miles, followed with a camp out in local football field.
